ABOUT US

St. Peter, originally named Simon, was one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus, famously renamed “Peter” (meaning “Rock” or Cephas in Aramaic) by Jesus, who declared him the foundation upon which he would build his Church (Matthew 16:18). Considered the first Pope, Peter was a leader among the apostles and the leader of the early Christian community.
